My Postcard Show History

My main source of acquiring postcards has been postcard shows.  Postcard shows are the best for browsing all sorts of postcards and meeting other collectors and dealers.  Since the advent of eBay, this source is also good, but anyone who collects postcards really needs to visit a postcard show.

Here are the postcard shows I have visited.  No particular order logic.

Canada
  • Toronto, Ontario
  • Merrickville, Ontario, twice
  • Montreal, Quebec, once
United States
  • Clayton, New York (Thousand Island show, more than just postcards), twice
  • New York, New York, twice
  • York, Pennsylvania, once
  • Denver, Colorado
  • Wichita, Kansas, once
  • Portland, Oregon, once
  • Chicago, Illinois, once
England
  • London (Bloomsbury Fair), once

Naval Postcards Blog Reboot

Well, it looks like I had no interest in the Unknown Naval Postcards blog posts, so I decided to reboot my blog.  This time I think I'm going to post various postcard or naval related ship posts.  This will be based on my collection.  The postcard posts may be topics such as publishers or stamp boxes.  It may be about postcard shows I have visited.  Naval posts may be on a specific ship, battle or harbour.  I still may slip in some unknown naval ships found on postcard.

Over time I hope this blog will be interesting for postcard collectors and those interested in naval history.  I certainly welcome requests.
